Print your photo at a store
Your print sheet is a standard 4×6 inch photo with your passport photos on it, at the exact official size. Any photo counter, self-service kiosk or online photo printing service can print it.
Fastest: on your order page, tap Send to the Walgreens or CVS app (phone) or Print at Walgreens / CVS (computer). Order one 4×6 print for same-day pickup; it's usually ready in about an hour and costs under $1.
- Download the 4×6 print sheet From your order page. Keep the file as it is: don't crop, resize or edit it.
- Order one 4×6 photo print Upload the sheet at a store kiosk or photo website and choose the 4×6 size. If you see options like "fit", "fill" or "crop to fit", turn them off or choose "print as is", so the photos keep their exact size. US passport sheets use the full height of the paper, so also turn off any "borderless" or "fill" option if the printer offers one. Matte or glossy photo paper both work.
- Cut out the photos Cut along the thin grey lines between the photos and from the small grey marks at the edges, with scissors or a paper cutter. Each photo is already the official size, so don't trim inside the lines.
- Check the size Hold a ruler to one photo: a US passport photo should be 2 × 2 inches (51 × 51 mm). If it isn't, the printer scaled the sheet; ask them to print it again at actual size.
